I am an expressive artist who lives in Sonoma County. Born in 1950, in Sonoma County, I was raised in an artistically supportive family, which nurtured my artistic creativity. The rolling hills and landscapes of California are a constant inspiration for my artwork. The usage of color and innocence of the subject matter in my paintings reflect a unique folk art style. I enjoy and use a charmingly decorated art studio with a collection of treasures, many of which are incorporated into my whimsical paintings.
I enjoyed taking art classes at College of Marin for five years and I was an active member of the Indian Valley Artists in Marin. I have won awards for my artwork in the Marin and Sonoma county fairs.
I volunteered at a local school district for ten years as an Art Docent while raising my daughters. I currently work as a teacher for a local preschool, teach art classes to residents of a local adult living community and teach art to children during the summer and winter vacations.
